What is a ship’s worth? Many factors play a role in determining the value - the supply and demand for comparable vessels, recent sales and possible future developments in the market. In the valuation, we take all possible factors into account. In doing so, we work with a carefully maintained database of vessels and transactions, combined with our years of experience and our close contact with the market.
In the valuation process, we don’t allow ourselves to be influenced by the interests of any one party involved. We arrive at a valuation independently of its value to the owners, users, financiers, insurers and other parties.
